Welcome to Nilambur and to “Eadens Hermitage” your ‘home away from home’. We offer a tour package linking together all tourist attractions in and around Nilambur, including the Teak Plantation, Teak Museum, Hanging Bridge, Pottery Making, Rock Climbing, Waterfalls and historical heritage sites. Enjoying the night (wild) life inside forest is also part of the program (with special permission from Forest Department). Mixing with tribal people and enjoying their pure art forms can be arranged at extra cost. Itinerary : 3 Nights 4 Days Packages Day 1 Airport pick up from Calicut (Karipur) airport, transfer to Nilambur - 65 kms by road / pick up from Nilambur Railway Station – (2 hrs train journey from Shornur to Nilambur), check in at ‘Eadens Hermitage’, relax, have lunch and proceed to sightseeing. Visit Teak Museum, Canoly’s Plot & Aruvacode for Pottery Making. N/S at Homestay. Day 2 Early morning trek to rock climbing - 300metres , breakfast and private pool river bath, visit to Adyanpara Waterfalls & lunch back at Eadens Hermitage. Afternoon proceed for a walk in the paddy fields, visit a ‘Nambuthiri Illam’ with ‘Sarpa Kavu’, Rubber Plantations, etc. N/S at Homestay. Day 3 Visit to Forest Traing Centre, Rehab Centre, Nedumgayam- with special permission from the Forests Department stay inside the forests. N/S inside Forest or back at Homestay. Day 4 Enjoy the intricacies of Kerala Christian cooking and understand the cultural heritage. Transfer to Calicut Airport / Nilambur Railway Station for return journey.
